{"id":319,"name":"Saud Naama Al-Mawla","url":"","description":"Born in Beirut in 1953, he obtained a teaching degree and professional qualification in general philosophy and psychology from the Faculty of Education at the Lebanese University in 1977, followed by a postgraduate diploma in the social and political history of Arab countries from the Sorbonne University in 1980, and a doctorate in Islamic civilization and Islamic studies from the same university in 1984. He worked as a professor of social sciences at the Institute of Social Sciences at the Lebanese University between 1986 and 2013. He also taught Islamic-Christian studies at Saint Joseph University, Balamand University, Haigazian University, and the American University in Lebanon, as well as Earlham University in Indiana (USA). He served as Director of the Translation Unit at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Doha between 2013 and 2018, and was a visiting professor at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies between 2017 and 2023.
