About Ammar Kahf

Dr. Ammar Kahf is the Executive Director of Omran for Strategic Studies, a policy think-tank center based in Istanbul and focusing on Syria and the region politically, economically and administratively. Dr. Kahf received his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies/Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. His work focuses on political transition, Middle Eastern politics, and Syria studies.
