About Riccardo Gasco

Riccardo Gasco is a graduate student in International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London. He is the graduate of International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Genoa from the department of Political and Social Sciences. He studied under the European Erasmus Plus Program for one year at Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona. He has written his thesis on “The 2019 Istanbul Municipal Election” as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for Modern Turkish Studies at Sehir University in Istanbul and successfully defended it at the University of Genoa. Recently, he has been pursuing his master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London. He has an advanced level of English, Spanish, and Catalan and A1 level of Turkish. He also has a B2 DELF certification in French. In January he started to collaborate with “Orizzonti Politici,” an Italian think-tank. His research mainly focus on International Relations in the Middle East, diplomacy, and Turkish domestic and foreign politics.
