Ömer Özkizilcik is a foreign policy and security analyst. Between 2018 and 2021, he worked at the Security Department of SETA Foundation. Between August 2017 and September 2018, Özkizilcik worked at the Middle East Foundation. Since 2016, he is the editor-in-chief of Suriye Gündemi. Özkizilcik’s research focuses especially on the Middle East, Turkish foreign policy, counter-terrorism, and the Syrian civil war.
