The National Organization for Mujahideen (ONM) – known to be close to the military – calls for a dialogue that includes representatives of the hirāk, parties, and others to elect a national committee to run the interim period for one year at most. It also called for a constitutional declaration that helps running the interim period with transparency.

The Constitutional Council affirms that the presidential election can’t take place in July as planned, and declares that it had received only two candidates who were deemed invalid. It did not set a new date for the presidential election, asking Bensalah to organize a vote at a later date.
