Al Sharq Strategic Research is seeking interns for its internship program, which will start on May 1, 2026. The internship position is for young fellows who have an interest and experience in studying the MENA region. Part-time (3 full working days) and full- time (5 working days) options are available for this position.

Requirements:
- Being a graduate or final-year undergrad student. Master’s students will have priority in the selection process.
- Full English working proficiency is required as all events, papers, and office conduct are in English.
- Proficiency in one of the region’s languages (Arabic, Persian, Turkish, or Kurdish) is a plus.
- Interpersonal skills are necessary as many tasks will be carried out in cooperation with the staff.
- Applicants based in Istanbul will be prioritized in the selection process. (Travel and accommodation expenses will not be covered for applicants who plan to relocate specifically for the internship program.)
- The program is solely conducted in person. Candidates interested in remote (online) work are urged to refrain from applying.
- This position is strictly for junior fellows. The applicants must be under 26 years old. Applications from candidates over this age will not be considered.
- Those who study Political Science, International Relations, History, or Middle Eastern politics will be given priority.
